Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Medical Records Clerk to provide administrative and operational support for the Medical Records Department. You will manage release of information, scanning, and document control while ensuring regulatory compliance and data confidentiality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in a Dubai/UAE MRD, with proficiency in EMR systems and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in a Medical Records Department (MRD) in Dubai/UAE healthcare sector.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
• Experience in scanning, record management, and release of information processes.
• Proficient in English communication; strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Release of Information: process requests from patients, insurers, and authorized parties; verify approvals; ensure confidential release of records; maintain disclosures log.
• Scanning and Document Management: prepare, sort, and scan documents into the EMR; verify image quality and indexing; maintain filing systems; support retrieval and archiving.
• Statistics and Reporting: prepare MRD reports daily to annually; analyze data and KPIs; submit reports to management and regulatory bodies; ensure data accuracy.
• Medical Records Operations: review records for completeness; support MRD committee meetings; assist in audits; follow up with clinicians on pending reports and discharge summaries; support quality improvement activities.
