Job summary

Via Medica International Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Billing/Coding Specialist to manage data entry for billing, maintain patient profiles, and submit required reports. You will communicate with supervisors and providers to resolve issues while ensuring timely, accurate submissions.

Required: Medical Bachelor Degree (BS Nursing preferred), CPC or CCSPB-Certified coder, at least 1 year of home care billing experience, and familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations (TASNEEF, JAWDA, DOH).

Qualifications

• Medical Bachelor Degree preferred (BS Nursing).
• Working knowledge of the billing process in a healthcare setting in Abu Dhabi.
• CPC or CCSPB-Certified coder; 1+ year billing experience in home care.
• Tasneef, JAWDA & DOH audit exposure is a plus.
• At least two years medical coding experience post-qualification.

Responsibilities

• Performing data entry of client information for billing.
• Generating, updating, and maintaining patient profiles for both current and new clients.
• Submitting required reports for approval/re-approval while coordinating with supervisors.
• Providing customer service over the phone and handling claim inquiries.
• Resolving patients’ complaints and concerns.
• Maintaining attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensuring completeness of all insurance forms and sub-forms.
• Preparing and submitting claims for payment in a timely manner.
• Responding to inquiries regarding accounts.
• Posting cash receipts as received and completing accounts receivable/payable reports.
• Monitoring accounts receivable and outstanding insurance claims.
