Job summary

Wamdhah Metal Industries LLC SP is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Sales Engineer with experience in sheet metal fabrication, steel fabrication and diesel generator sets. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering technical and commercial quotations.

You will identify opportunities with contractors, MEPs, industrial clients and OEMs, prepare cost estimates and BOQs, review drawings, coordinate with engineering and production teams, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in sheet metal fabrication, steel fabrication, or generator sets.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, engineering drawings, material specifications, and estimation.
• Understanding of diesel generator specifications, kVA ratings, acoustic enclosures, and related accessories is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, consultants, MEP companies, industrial clients and OEMs.
• Promote sheet metal fabrication products, structural steel works, generator sets, acoustic enclosures and related mechanical products.
• Generate sales leads through customer visits, networking, tenders and market research.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, cost estimates, BOQs and proposals.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, estimation, production and procurement to ensure pricing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries, negotiate commercial terms and follow up on quotations and purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets and repeat business.
