Job summary

KEO is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our Dubai project team. This on-site role performs inspections in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and ITPs, ensuring work meets project standards.

You will monitor HVAC, plumbing, drainage and other mechanical installations, coordinate with contractors and site teams, prepare inspection reports and snag lists, and assist testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications

• 10 years of work experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience on tower projects in Dubai/UAE is essential.
• on-site inspection expertise and ITP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspections of mechanical works on site in accordance with drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Monitoring installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and other mechanical systems.
• Ensuring works comply with quality, safety and authority requirements; preparing inspection reports and snag lists.
• Coordinating with contractors, consultants and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team based on our project in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the mechanical related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Carrying out inspections of mechanical works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Monitoring installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensuring works are executed in compliance with quality, safety, and authority requirements.
• Conducting material inspections and review method statements and inspection requests.
• Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Preparing inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress updates.
• Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience gained from working on Tower projects in Dubai/UAE is essential for this role.
