Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical estimation within construction.
• Mandatory UAE construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of take-offs, BOQ, and cost estimation.

• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Study tender documents, including drawings, project specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contract conditions.
• Prepare tender study reports by analyzing project requirements and scope of work.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates and tender BOQs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Analyze vendor quotations, including costs, inclusions, exclusions, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors throughout the tendering process.
• Collect and compile technical data sheets, specifications, and drawings for technical bid submissions.
• Assist management with commercial negotiations with clients and vendors to achieve competitive pricing.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize costs while meeting project requirements.
• Maintain accurate tender records and compile all relevant documents for management review and approval before submission.
