Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in sphere tanks to support site execution on EPC projects in the UAE. You will oversee fabrication, assembly, erection and installation of spherical storage tanks, ensuring compliance with ASME/API standards and project specs.

The role requires knowledge of welding, NDT, hydrostatic testing, and coordination with subcontractors on-site plus strong problem-solving for technical issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as Mechanical Engineer on sphere tanks / spherical storage vessels.
• Background in EPC / Oil & Gas / heavy industrial construction projects.
• Location in UAE or eligible for local hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site fabrication, assembly, erection and installation of spherical storage tanks.
• Ensure welding, fit-up, NDT and hydrostatic testing meet project specs and standards (ASME/API).

• Quality & Code Compliance: Ensure all tank welding, fit-up, non-destructive testing (NDT), and hydrostatic testing meet project specs and international standards (e.g., ASME / API).
• Site Supervision: Manage subcontractors and site teams to keep erection activities on schedule and within safety guidelines.
• Technical Issue Resolution: Address site engineering queries, inspect fit-ups, and review drawings and method statements for sphere tank works.
