Job summary

ADC in the UAE seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee sphere tank fabrication, assembly, erection and installation on EPC/Oil & Gas projects. You will ensure welding, fit-up, NDT and hydrostatic tests meet specs and standards; lead site teams, review drawings and method statements, and resolve technical queries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Mechanical Engineer working on Sphere Tanks / Spherical Storage Vessels.
• Background in EPC / Oil & Gas / Heavy Industrial construction projects.
• Familiarity with welding, fit-up, NDT, and hydrostatic testing per project specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site fabrication, assembly, erection, and installation of spherical storage tanks.
• Ensure welding, fit-up, non-destructive testing (NDT), and hydrostatic testing meet project specs and international standards (e.g., ASME / API).
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to keep erection activities on schedule and within safety guidelines.
• Address site engineering queries, inspect fit-ups, and review drawings and method statements for sphere tank works.
