Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site supervision for infrastructure works and pumping stations, including design review, planning, monitoring, and testing and commissioning
• Advise the project management team and client on procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment
• Attend factory acceptance tests and site tests required for project completion and asset handover to authorities
• Develop scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress against approved targets
• Identify and document scope changes and support procurement planning, scheduling, and budget control for project buyouts
• Interface with procurement and subcontract teams to facilitate bid processes and technical coordination
• Coordinate utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel in collaboration with other project engineers
• Assist the Resident Engineer in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions
• Ensure client criteria and approved scope are met across all engineering disciplines
• Expedite action items arising from meetings with the client and project manager
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and project management
• Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to relevant project disciplines
• Perform additional duties associated with mechanical construction supervision as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution
• Minimum 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE, in site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring, and testing and commissioning for large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proven experience supervising pumping stations, firefighting systems, chilled water networks, and utility infrastructure works
• Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and processes including DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defense
• Proficiency in CAD and engineering software tools used in construction supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with industry practices and regulations related to infrastructure projects
