Job summary

Client of Creative HR Consultancy seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer for fire protection systems installation and maintenance in the UAE. The role covers design review, site supervision, and coordination with authorities to ensure compliance with Civil Defense requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years UAE experience (preferably in fire protection), and is capable of reading drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the fire fighting / fire protection industry.
• RAK experience is highly preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of fire fighting systems, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Experience dealing with UAE Civil Defense and related authorities is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/mechanical piping and relevant site practices will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within a short notice period are strongly preferred.

• Supervise installation of fire pumps sprinkler systems hose reels fire hydrants piping networks and related firefighting equipment
• Coordinate with consultants contractors clients suppliers and relevant government authorities
• Ensure projects comply with applicable UAE Fire amp Life Safety Code Civil Defense requirements and approved specifications
• Conduct site inspections testing commissioning troubleshooting and maintenance activities
• Monitor project progress quality materials manpower and site safety
• Prepare technical reports inspection requests method statements and other project documentation
• Support maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and firefighting system issues
