Job summary

Client of Creative HR Consultancy seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer in the UAE to design, supervise, install, test and maintain fire protection electrical systems. The role requires coordinating with consultants, contractors and authorities, plus ensuring adherence to UAE standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years UAE experience in fire protection, and availability to join within 5 days. Knowledge of drawings and HSE compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience in electrical engineering, preferably in fire protection or life-safety systems.
• Candidate in UAE available to join within 5 days preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE fire & life-safety requirements and authority procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, supervise, install, test, commission and maintain electrical systems for fire protection and life-safety.
• Coordinate installation and maintenance for fire alarm, emergency lighting and related equipment.
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, schematics and technical docs.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with drawings, specs and UAE standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients and authorities during projects.
• Troubleshoot faults and provide effective technical solutions.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractors to ensure safety and project standards.
• Prepare material requirements, reports and site progress documentation.

About the Role

Our client a specialized company engaged in fire fighting systems fire amp safety equipment installation testing commissioning and maintenance is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in the UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Design supervise install test commission and maintain electrical systems related to fire fighting and fire amp life safety systems
• Coordinate installation and maintenance works for fire alarm emergency lighting fire pump control panels and related electrical systems
• Prepare and review electrical drawings shop drawings schematics and technical documentation
• Conduct site inspections and ensure installations comply with approved drawings specifications and applicable UAE standards
• Coordinate with consultants contractors clients and relevant authorities during project execution and inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions
• Supervise technicians and subcontractors and ensure work is completed according to project requirements and safety standards
• Prepare material requirements technical reports testing commissioning documentation and site progress reports
• Support project teams in obtaining approvals and completing inspections with relevant UAE authorities where required
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable fire and life-safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably, Candidates who are currently available in UAE and can join immediately (within 5 days maximum).

• Ras Al Khaimah experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems associated with fire protection and life-safety installations.
• Experience in site supervision, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with UAE fire & life-safety requirements and relevant authority approval procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
