Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to coordinate maintenance activities at a power plant in Dubai. The role involves aligning site teams, coordinating procurement for tools and parts, and supervising engineers and technicians during inspections and repairs.

You will prepare and maintain maintenance reports, service logs, and job completion documentation while assisting in resource planning and proposal preparation for current and upcoming projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical, engineering, power plant, oil & gas energy field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities with site teams to ensure efficient execution of service schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement team to ensure availability of required tools, spare parts, materials, and specialized equipment for maintenance works.
• Provide site coordination and supervision, supporting engineers and technicians during inspections, maintenance, and repair activities at the power plant.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance reports, inspection records, service logs, and job completion reports.
• Assist in resource planning, ensuring manpower, equipment, and materials are allocated effectively to meet project and maintenance requirements.
• Support the preparation of technical proposals, maintenance plans, and service documentation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Monitor service KPIs, safety compliance, and quality standards, ensuring all activities follow company procedures and industry regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency in maintenance coordination and service delivery.
• Translate high-level design drawings into detailed shop drawings.
