Job summary

Al Ain Consulting Engineers LLC is seeking a Mechanical BIM Modeler in Abu Dhabi to join our team and contribute to project success. You will develop and maintain MEP BIM models, coordinate with multiple disciplines and ensure adherence to BIM standards and project deadlines.

The role requires a Diploma, Autodesk Certified Professional status, and at least 4 years of total experience (3+ years in relevance) with UAE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma qualification.

• 2+ years UAE experience; Abu Dhabi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MEP mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Model HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and other mechanical systems per design information and requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical and other MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Review and resolve MEP vs MEP and MEP vs structural/architectural clashes.
• Ensure models comply with BEP, BIM standards, LOD requirements and naming conventions.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, coordinated layouts, sections, schedules and BIM deliverables.
• Review design drawings for discrepancies and missing information.
• Support engineers and BIM coordinators in design changes and issue resolution.
• Coordinate model updates and timely submission of NWC/NWD and Revit models.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and prepare clash reports.
• Conduct QA/QC checks for model accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and extraction of model-based information.
