Job summary

Gutor is seeking a Pre Sales Engineer to support the Sales Team in tendering and preparing technical and commercial proposals for MEA region's UPS solutions. You will own proposals with full regulatory compliance and drive outcomes with customers.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, 5+ years in tendering or engineering, and ability to lead discussions, quantify risks, and ensure on-time submissions while coordinating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Computer literacy is necessary.
• 5+ years’ experience in Tendering, Sales or Engineering / Project Execution.
• Knowledge of UPS solution and battery sizing calculations is advantageous.
• Understanding of multi-cultural markets with go-to-market models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, and confidential environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Open to change and continuous improvement.
• Competitive and eager to win; willing to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and technical proposal preparation.
• Comprehensive understanding of project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercials proposals that meet customers’ requirements, and according to organization’s regulation and guidelines.
• Ensure high quality of proposal submissions, accurate costing with optimized solutions that meet the specifications.
• Evaluate offer and pricing with necessary costing analysis. Identify and quantify risk and opportunities. Be the owner of the proposed solutions
• Incorporate Gutor proposition values into our offers.
• Ensure on time tender submission.
• Customer Meetings.
• Attend technical bid clarification meetings. Drive and lead technical discussions and closure with customers.
• Present and qualify our proposal as the “best proposal” to solve customers’ problems .
• Identify and address customers’ concerns.
• FEED and customer support activities.
• Support customers with sound technical proposals during FEED stage
• Spec-in and qualify Gutor solution as main design reference.
• Incorporate and push Gutor value proposition to our customers.
• Strong cooperation and collaboration with other departments.
• Facilitate Quote to Win process.
• Support project handover to execution team
• Properly identify risks and opportunities, with mitigation plans
• Support project manager / design engineer during project execution
