Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate in the Payments Trade & Working Capital team to develop core trade skills and support the MEA FI Sales team.

You will collaborate with FIG Sales on client origination and revenue generation, driving new pipeline and revenue growth while ensuring high-quality implementation of transactions for large, high-demand clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Analytical, presentation, project management and strategic planning skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills for partnering with Product, Customer Service and Delivery managers.
• Experience in positioning and winning new Trade flows from FIs in MEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Trade strategy for the MEA region to grow FI Trade Revenues.
• Drive innovative ideas and traditional trade solutions to meet client needs and ensure high-quality transaction execution.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment across work streams and credit line management.
• Collaborate with the distribution team on sell-down strategies and credit approvals.
• Work with Core Trade Product team on new product approvals in identified jurisdictions.
• Build country, industry, and client knowledge to identify and drive new opportunities.
• Monitor balance sheet through portfolio reviews, trade committee approvals, and LRC submissions.
