Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a Special Pricing & Costing Leader to manage the MEA pricing and costing team for control valve products.

You will drive pricing excellence, costing accuracy, and standardization while supporting the commercial strategy across the region. You will collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to optimize profitability and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Control Valve/Flow Control/Industrial Automation or related industries.
• Experience in Special Pricing, Costing, Order Engineering, Procurement, or related commercial engineering function.
• Strong understanding of control valve products and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, product specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of costing methodologies, gross profit analysis, margins, breakeven calculations, and pricing strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Special Pricing & Costing Engineers for the MEA region.
• Monitor workload, productivity, quality, and turnaround times to meet SLAs.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance on complex pricing opportunities.
• Support team development through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Lead review and execution of special pricing for control valves, engineered products, and special manufacturing requirements.
• Review specs, configurations, BOMs, and processes to establish accurate costs and pricing structures.
• Evaluate configurations, sourcing strategies, manufacturing methods, and options to optimize value and profitability.
• Lead project costing during quotation stages to assess feasibility and financial performance.
• Establish and maintain robust costing methodologies for consistency across the region.
• Ensure compliance with pricing policies, financial controls, and approval processes.
