Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Hub Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager- MEA to lead quality strategy for the hub and align with global CI initiatives. You will drive governance, audits, and continuous improvement across multiple entities, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong English, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and proven ability to manage quality systems, audits, and improvement programs across regional teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Lean 6Sigma methodology at Green Belt or higher.
• Strong background in Quality core tools and processes.
• Expertise with 8D, Ishikawa, 5W, A3, TQM and PDCA.
• Experience with ISO certification and auditing.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and analytics.
• Experience in Project & Site Quality Management and APQP.
• Knowledge of Voice of the Customer and systematic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Hub Quality and CI strategy aligned with BU needs.
• Stays updated on laws, regulations and industry trends affecting quality.
• Manage capability development, workforce, footprint and succession.
• Act as Customer advocate and represent quality to customers.
• Define and manage Quality Management System across Hub entities.
• Organize quality/process audits and close actions.
• Establish process performance indicators and monitor controls.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders to address market-specific needs.
• Lead and implement Continuous Improvement framework (Lighthouse, L6S, etc.).
• Drive NCR resolution and actions for high-profile issues.
