Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Dubai is seeking a Hub Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager to lead quality strategy across the BU Service. You will drive robust problem solving, align region and country with global QA and CI plans, and oversee audits and certification activities to uphold quality systems.

You will define governance, deploy CI culture, manage the QA function, and partner with stakeholders to improve process performance and customer satisfaction across the hub.

• Lean 6Sigma, Green Belt or above (must)
• Quality core tools experience (must)
• Expert into: 8D, Ishikawa, 5W, A3, TQM, PDCA (teach others)
• ISO certification and Auditing (must)
• Quality Management Systems (must)
• Performance Management and Analytics (must)
• Project & Site Quality Management (e.g. PMI) (must)
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) (must)
• Continuous Improvement Project Management (must)

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Hub Quality and CI strategy,including governance of Quality and CI function in line with BU & business needs
• Stays up to date on laws, regulations and industry trends affecting QA and assists in policies and training
• Manage Hub Quality and CI function, including capability development, workforce management, footprint, and succession
• Contribute to BU Quality Improvement Plan
• Act as Voice of Customer within Hub quality strategy and represent company to customer
• Define and manage Quality Management System across Hub entities
• Coordinate process reviews with internal and external expectations
• Maintain required Certification in all units within HUB scope and conduct audits
• Establish process performance indicators and monitor controls
• Adapt and implement quality assurance methods and coordinate with regional stakeholders to improve offer performance
• Manage resolution of high-profile NCRs and corrective actions
• Deploy Continuous Improvement Framework and prioritize improvement projects
