AECOM is seeking a Material Inspector to support quality control of construction materials for major infrastructure and bridge projects in Abu Dhabi. You will inspect materials delivered to sites, verify compliance with submittals and specifications, and coordinate testing and quality documentation with contractors, laboratories, inspectors, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Relevant material inspection experience on major infrastructure and bridge projects is required.
• Knowledge of construction material inspection and quality control procedures is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Inspect construction materials delivered to project sites.
• Verify compliance with approved material submittals, technical specifications, and project quality requirements.
• Check material types, grades, dimensions, quantities, and physical condition upon delivery.
• Inspect materials intended for bridges, roads, earthworks, drainage systems, utilities, and other infrastructure works.
• Identify damaged, unsuitable, unapproved, or non‑conforming materials.
• Coordinate required material inspections and testing activities.
• Maintain records supporting material acceptance and quality verification.
• Review laboratory test results and material quality documentation.
