Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track Material Submittals (MAS) for client and consultant approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain samples, quotations, technical data sheets, and compliance documents.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ to ensure material compliance with project requirements.
• Evaluate interior fit‑out materials including finishes, joinery, furniture, flooring, ceiling, wall finishes, and decorative elements.
• Ensure all submitted materials comply with UAE authority regulations, fire safety standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain material approval trackers and ensure timely follow‑up with consultants and project teams.
• Coordinate with procurement, design, estimation, and site teams for material selection and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections to verify materials delivered and installed match approved samples and specifications.
• Support value engineering initiatives by proposing cost‑effective alternative materials without compromising quality and design intent.
• Attend consultant/client meetings related to material approvals and technical clarifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of approved/rejected materials and technical submissions.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure material approvals are aligned with construction schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 2–6 years of UAE experience in interior fit‑out, joinery, or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, joinery items, and fit‑out execution standards.
• Experience in preparing and managing Material Submittals (MAS) and consultant approvals.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and fire‑rated material requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and material tracking systems.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and deadline management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
