Job summary

NMDC Careers in Abu Dhabi seeks a Stores Operator to manage material handling from receipt to dispatch. You will inspect materials, maintain storage conditions, and ensure accurate ERP documentation while complying with HSE rules.

Candidates should have 5+ years in similar roles and a diploma or equivalent in a related discipline, with strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in similar industries.
• Diploma or related discipline acceptable; additional certifications preferred.
• Strong ability to inspect, store, and issue materials per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper material handling to ensure effective materials receipt, inspection, storing, preserving, issuing and reconciling of project/non-project materials.
• Ensure effective and efficient functioning of Stores as per company policies and procedures, including HSE requirements.
• Receive materials, ensure materials are off loaded at correct location.
• Inspect materials against documentation including specifications, test certificates and report non-conformance if damage or under/over-supply.
• Endorse materials with identification marks, supervise stacking, binning and preservation activities per vendor recommendations.
• Forward completed documentation for entry into ERP system.
• Arrange material for QC and Client inspection as per RFI requirement.
• Action approved demand vouchers by issuing and arranging dispatch of materials.
• Receive/inspect materials returned for reconciliation.
• Prepare reports as required; perform stock checking and reconciliation at intervals and after project ends.
• Work in compliance with HSE regulations; use proper tools and protective devices.
• Report workplace hazards or violations to supervisor.

Job description

Responsibilities

Ensure effective and efficient functioning of Stores as per company policies and procedures, including HSE requirements

Receive materials, ensures materials are off loaded at correct location

Inspect materials against documentation including specifications, test certificates and review/ report non-conformance in cases of damage, wrong, under/ over-supply

Carries out stock checking and reconciliation at regular intervals and after end of projects

Report any known workplace hazard or violations to the supervisor

Not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the employer or by regulations

Qualifications

Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent with Minimum 05 years of related work experience in similar industries

OR

Diploma in a related discipline, or equivalent with Minimum 03 years of related work experience in similar industries
