Job summary

Reliance Career Opportunities is seeking a Sales Engineer for ship repair in the UAE. You will generate sales and provide technical expertise, tailoring solutions to meet client needs and ensuring high satisfaction.

The role requires strong knowledge of ship repair processes and excellent communication to address client requirements. You will support the ship repair sales initiative, engage in selling marine equipment and existing marine doors, and help develop our marine doors product range.

Qualifications

• Must have existing experience in selling technical products or services to ship owners.
• Bachelor degree or higher in marine engineering, naval architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong technical comprehension and ability to read technical specifications
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills with track record of meeting targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical clients.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients within the maritime industry and build long-term relationships.
• Act as the technical expert for ship repair services and present tailored solutions.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets; conduct market research.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate contracts; ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
• Provide post-sales support and maintain customer satisfaction; generate repeat business.
• Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions; report to management.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships; lead proposal development.
• Promote the company brand at industry events and through marketing channels.
