Job summary

GAC Group in Fujairah seeks a Radio Room Operator to coordinate crew and supply boats, update logs, and relay cargo operations information. The role supports timely vessel attendance and communications, including after-hours coordination.

Candidates should have Higher Secondary Education, strong English, MS Office skills, and at least 1 year in a customer-facing role. Shipping industry experience is a plus and sailing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary Education; good English communication; MS Office proficiency; ability to learn new software; minimum 1 year in a customer-facing role; shipping experience advantageous; sailing experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew/supply boat upon receipt of check lists from Persons in Charge.
• Update daily boat log sheets and distribute to coordinators.
• Provide cargo operations updates to concerned parties, especially during absences of the handler.
• Arrange crew/personnel transportation per request with priority to own transport.
• Update vessel requirements/movements to boarding representatives to aid timely attendance.
