Job summary

Salt, a shipping/maritime company in Dubai, seeks an experienced in-house counsel to manage all legal matters. You will review commercial contracts, confidentiality and supplier/client agreements, and advise on cross-border regulatory obligations.

The role requires a minimum of six years in maritime law, with EU exposure preferred. You will maintain confidential files, support KYC and due diligence, and keep corporate records across entities up to date.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in maritime/shipping law.
• EU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare and manage commercial contracts and legal documents.
• Prepare confidentiality, supplier and client agreements and related business documents.
• Provide admin and legal support for cross-border activities.
• Maintain awareness of international legal considerations relevant to operations.
• Assist with KYC documentation, due diligence and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidential legal files and secure documentation.
• Support compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain corporate records across multiple entities.
