Job summary

DP World in Dubai seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance to head office and regional management across the Ports & Terminals pillar, coordinating with external counsel.

The role requires a Law Degree and bar admission, at least five years post-qualification experience in international firms or multinationals, and strong skills in cross-border transactions, negotiation and regulatory affairs.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited university.
• Qualified to practice law with a recognized regulatory body.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or multinational company.
• Experience in Middle East region preferred.
• Knowledge of cross-border corporate and commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, reliable legal guidance to senior managers on ports & terminals matters.
• Review, draft and negotiate complex contracts including joint ventures and concession agreements.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage external legal spend.
• Advise on regulatory, commercial and contentious issues with potential cross-regional impact.
