Salt, a shipping/maritime company in Dubai, seeks an experienced in-house counsel to manage all legal matters. You will review commercial contracts, confidentiality and supplier/client agreements, and advise on cross-border regulatory obligations.

The role requires a minimum of six years in maritime law, with EU exposure preferred. You will maintain confidential files, support KYC and due diligence, and keep corporate records across entities up to date.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years experience in maritime/shipping law.
• EU experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all in house legal matters for this rapidly expanding shipping/maritime business.

Responsibilities

• Support the review, preparation and management of commercial contracts, agreements and legal documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of confidentiality agreements, supplier agreements, client agreements and other business documentation.
• Provide administrative and legal support for cross-border business activities.
• Maintain awareness of international legal considerations relevant to the Company's operations.
• Assist with KYC documentation, due diligence requests and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidential legal files and ensure documentation is stored securely.
• Support the Company in ensuring legal and regulatory obligations are appropriately managed.
• Assist with maintaining corporate records across multiple company entities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maritime/shipping/charters is preferred
• Minimum 6 years experience, ideally with some EU experience
