Addmind Hospitality in Dubai invites a skilled Marine Vessel Operator to join our luxury beach club and hospitality venues. You will oversee safe operation of vessels, ensure guest safety, and deliver exceptional water-based experiences in line with our standards.

The role requires UAE licence, minimum 3 years’ sailing experience, and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. We offer a dynamic, multicultural environment with opportunities for career growth.

We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and guest-focused Marine Vessel Operator to join the Addmind team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of marine vessels, delivering exceptional on-water experiences for guests in line with Addmind's hospitality standards.

Position Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Vessel Operations & Navigation

• Operate marine vessels safely and efficiently in accordance with UAE maritime regulations and company standards.
• Navigate assigned routes, manage boarding and disembarkation, and ensure smooth on-water operations at all times.
• Conduct pre- and post-departure checks on all vessels, including fuel, safety equipment, and mechanical condition.
• Report any technical faults, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns to the relevant team immediately.

Guest Experience

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and welcoming manner before, during, and after each journey.
• Ensure guests are briefed on safety procedures prior to departure.
• Respond to guest requests and queries with confidence and professionalism.
• Maintain the highest standards of presentation and conduct when representing the Addmind brand on the water.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with UAE maritime authority regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards at all times.
• Conduct routine safety drills and ensure all safety equipment is in working order and accessible.
• Monitor weather and water conditions and make informed decisions regarding safe operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of vessel operations, fuel usage, and any incidents or near-misses.

Vessel Maintenance & Coordination

• Carry out basic vessel cleaning and upkeep to maintain presentation standards.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled servicing and repairs.
• Ensure vessels are docked, secured, and prepared for the next operation at the end of each shift.
• Liaise with beach club operations and events teams to align vessel schedules with venue activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, passenger counts, and vessel condition.
• Report any incidents, equipment failures, or safety concerns promptly and in writing.
• Ensure all vessel documentation, licences, and insurance are current and accessible.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Pleasure Marine Craft licence (up to 12m or 24m depending on vessel size) issued by the Dubai Maritime Authority.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating marine vessels, preferably in a hospitality, tourism, or leisure environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE maritime regulations and safety protocols.
• Calm, composed, and decisive under pressure with excellent situational awareness.
• Excellent communication and guest-facing skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor, marine conditions including heat and direct sun exposure.
• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required by venue operations.
• Previous experience in a luxury beach club, resort, or hospitality venue is an advantage.
