Key Responsibilities
- Approach and engage aquarium visitors in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
- Share accurate information about marine animals, aquarium exhibits, habitat themes, and conservation topics.
- Deliver formal presentations, informal talks, and interactive education programs for small and large groups.
- Facilitate marine animal activities according to operating schedules, safety requirements, and guest demand.
- Explain conservation threats and practical actions guests can take to support healthier oceans.
- Adapt communication style and presentation content for children, families, school groups, and international visitors.
- Maintain basic working knowledge of marine species, animal care practices, aquarium systems, and environmental challenges.
- Use approved learning resources to strengthen knowledge of exhibits, animal collections, and aquarium storytelling.
- Conduct research and prepare educational material that improves presentation accuracy and guest interest.
- Participate in regular training, coaching, knowledge assessments, and presentation evaluations.
