Job summary

Al Hadeer Marble and Stone Cutting Factory L.L.C in Sharjah is seeking a skilled CAD drafter with a civil/architectural background to prepare detailed marble drawings for flooring, cladding, countertops, and other stone elements.

You will conduct site measurements, develop cutting lists, coordinate with production, and ensure drawings meet project specs; AutoCAD proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings for marble works such as flooring, wall cladding, staircases, countertops, vanity tops, skirting and other stone elements.
• Conduct site visits and site measurements of the projects.
• Develop cutting lists and slab layout drawings to minimize material wastage.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings match factory fabrication capabilities.
• Work closely with project managers, site engineers and architects to understand project requirements.
• Modify drawings based on client comments, site conditions and consultant approvals.
• Prepare as-built drawings after completion of works.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, drawings and industry standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions for record keeping.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to marble installation and fabrication.
• Coordinate with site teams for measurement verification and site feedback.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
