Job summary

ADRobotics is seeking a Technical Buyer to manage day-to-day tactical purchasing for robotics components, linking engineering and supply chain to ensure timely production.

You will issue and expedit e POs, manage supplier commitments, and resolve procurement issues across Planning, Inventory, and Manufacturing Engineering. Strong Mandarin and manufacturing procurement experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of buyer/procurement experience in manufacturing/start-up environments.
• Mandarin proficiency required for supplier negotiations.
• Experience in complex manufacturing (Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Robotics).
• Proven procurement and logistics management from China to UAE/GCC.
• Engineering foundation to read blueprints and understand technical concepts.
• ERP system experience for PO creation, tracking, and reporting.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail with high PO volume.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement for technical components for robotics assembly.
• Partner with Design, Engineering and Manufacturing to understand specs, quality, and timelines.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure suppliers have accurate data.
• Convert requisitions into purchase orders within pricing and terms.
• Monitor PO status, track deliveries and flag issues.
• Coordinate with Quality to address non-conformances and drive root-cause analysis.
• Resolve supplier issues in collaboration with Receiving and Accounts Payable.
