Job summary

EDGE Technologies is seeking a Technical Buyer for EO MRO in Abu Dhabi. You will manage procurement for production and maintenance, ensuring spare parts and tools are available with the right quality, cost and lead times to support operational readiness.

You will source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, align purchasing with production plans, and maintain SAP records. You will collaborate across Engineering, Operations and Production teams to optimize sourcing and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, and price and lead-time negotiation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or a related field is preferred.
• A Supply Chain Management qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of spare parts, tools and equipment for production and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities.
• Plan, execute, monitor and close sourcing activities across multiple NPI projects.
• Source and evaluate suppliers through the authorised supplier list and prospective vendors, considering capability, quality, cost and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial terms, including long-term pricing agreements with OEMs and key suppliers.
• Align purchasing schedules with production and maintenance plans to prevent shortages and delays.
• Maintain accurate procurement, order and inventory records in SAP.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations and Production teams to translate technical requirements into sourcing actions.
