Job summary

Experience in trading commodities in building materials or related sectors.
Native Mandarin, fluent in English.
Experience with Dubai-based trading firms or Chinese counterparties.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Ability to lead negotiations and manage key client relationships.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.
Liaise with Chinese suppliers, clients, and government trade offices.
Conduct market research to identify trends and growth areas.
Support end-to-end commercial deal negotiations with legal, finance, and operations.
Attend trade events to represent the company.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for onboarding of new clients and partners.
Prepare business proposals, investment briefs, and pitch presentations.
Report on pipeline progress, forecasts, and key metrics.
