Qualifications

Job Description

The BMW Middle East Team is looking for a Manager Qualification and Retail Talent Management who would be responsible to ensure implementation of the overarching Qualification and Retail Talent Management strategy with dedicated initiatives towards BMW and MINI importers in the Region Middle East.

What awaits you?

• Act as the single point of contact to secure the qualification standards and network requirements for all business areas.
• Adapting business strategies and planning to rapidly changing market conditions.
• Drive new business competency together with the different business stakeholders ensuring a highly competent retail network e. g. prior to new model launches.
• Ensuring the BMW Training Centre capability in line with the C3-R4 / CM-C3-R4 strategy and relevant centrally driven project initiatives.
• Holding the Retail HR government function for sustainable Retail Talent Management and Employer Branding.
• Strategic guidance of the markets regarding attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining the best talents.
• Ensuring of the competency framework for all retail roles.
• KPI driven steering of the importers in terms of local activities.
• Manage the importers' development towards implementation of reward and retention strategies.
• Ensuring that our qualification portfolio strategy is aligned with the importers and partner network.
• Identify and assess current training needs through needs analysis, assessments, reviewing career path and stakeholder consultation.
• Strategic guidance and steering on their local market training plans to ensure that customer / business / compliance requirements are met.
• Design and implement (individualized) learning and development path and training programs to improve skills, knowledge, and behaviors.
• Driving customer satisfaction, loyalisation and profitability with tailormade training programs including budget and vendor management.
• Pro-active measuring of the quality and effectiveness of training in compliance with qualification requirements and as part of strategic initiatives.
• Enhance and implement a wide variety of training methods including mobile learning, virtual classrooms and coaching to foster highly effective and sustainable learning.
• Responsible for the overarching Training Centre budget and business case towards Importer, BMW AG.
• Overarching Facility Management according to audit standards, investment plans and revenues.
• Keep up to date with the latest learning trends, developments and best practices.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in in Business Administration, Management or similar disciplines
• 6-8 years of experience in training and HR development experience, preferably in automotive set-up.
• Demonstrable understanding of in the automotive industry or retail business with experience in HR or Training
• Ability to benchmark and identify best practices, turning insights into plans and actions
• Ability to steer external partners across hierarchies. Assertiveness, perseverance, ability to motivate teams, drive change and pragmatism.
• High proficiency in the usage of Microsoft Office (Excel, PP, Word)
• Ability to take self-initiative, be a part of a high performance team alongwith strong intercultural and social competence.
• Experience in project management with high proficiency of problem solving and organizational skills.
• Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical mindset to identify financial risks, opportunities, and innovative solutions in a dynamic business environment.
• Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Openness to change and commitment to continuously updating financial knowledge, tools, and best practices to stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry
