Job summary

Al Ghurair seeks an experienced Project Lead to form and head a new civil construction team for its Dubai-based division. You will oversee projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery meets scope, budget, safety, and client expectations.

Responsibilities include coordinating design teams, maintaining schedules with Primavera, managing budgets, and reporting to clients. A strong background in UAE regulations and contract management is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in UAE/Dubai Civil Construction and building construction as core experience.
• Additional experience in Infrastructure, Fit-Out, Renovation, or Civil Maintenance is a plus.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a reputed university/college.
• DM Certification in Civil Engineering-related fields mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery from design coordination through to handover.
• Maintain program schedules using Primavera.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and client RFPs/contractual obligations.
• Handle variation orders, EOT claims, and manage contractor correspondence.
• Coordinate the design team, including architects, engineers, and specialists.
• Lead weekly meetings and document actionable items.
• Control project budget, forecast costs, issue payment certificates, and finalize accounts.
• Submit permits and approve inspections with Dubai Municipality.
• Monitor HSE performance in accordance with UAE Labour Law and site HSE plan.
• Provide monthly reports to the client covering program, cost, and risk.
