Job summary

Client of WhiteCrow Research is seeking a senior Project Planner to lead the planning efforts for multiple projects in Dubai. You will develop and maintain schedules, coordinate timelines and resources across company units, and ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

The role requires strong experience in construction/project planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, with a track record of delivering complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 8–10 years total experience with 2–4 years in project planning (construction/Real Estate).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules with activities, timelines and resources across company units.
• Manage planning controls to ensure timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Establish, monitor and control the integrated master schedule for timely delivery and reporting.
• Prepare executive reporting and dashboards for management with actionable insights.
• Lead planning team; monitor KPIs, cash flows and resources; analyze risks.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams on baseline programs.
• Review contractor/PMCs reports; provide mitigation recommendations.
• Assess and respond to EOT claims; support risk management throughout projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain projects schedules including the sequence of activities, timelines and resource allocation for assigned Projects in co-ordination with all Company verticals Units addressing all key amp interfaces milestones and ensuring a clear and unified view of project timelines across the organization empowering them to effectively manage their project resources and finances
• Manage the planning and controls for the assigned projects ensuring adherence to timeline budget and quality standards
• Establish, monitor and control the integrated master schedule to ensure timely delivery review and approve contractor work programs and maintain progress reporting systems
• Prepare weekly monthly or as may deem necessary the executive management reporting presentations amp dashboards Provide various levels of reporting from operational to strategic based on the audience i.e. project manager Directors Executive Directors CPDO Excom Ensure that the provided reporting deliver a compelling message and clear actions to allow the management to take informed decisions
• Establish and regularly update preconstruction reports amp dashboards in coordination with Development and Procurement amp Contracts Teams Review and approve contractors baseline program of works Review amp evaluate the contractors consultants amp PMCs reporting and forecast completion dates and provide recommendations Lead the planning team for the PMCs Consultants amp contractors nbsp Report monitor amp control the projects KPIs LOBs cashflows resources and Line of Balance Analyze project performance data and identify trends and risks providing proactive recommendations for corrective actions to Directors Project Managers and senior leadership
• Evaluate allocation of resources in collaboration with Consultants Contractors and company Project team and analyze gaps between the planned and actual progress for projects to highlight areas of concern and provide recommendations with required actions optimizing project resource allocation and ensuring timely project completion
• Ensure accurate review of consultant contractor program daily weekly and monthly reports for management approval including his observation comments recommendation for mitigation if any maintaining quality control and risk mitigation in project execution Provide the required updated schedule information to be submitted to the concerned Authorities as and when required e g DEWA RERA etc ensuring timely and accurate project reporting to external stakeholders
• Establish plan delivery annual Targets in terms of number of units gross value of work done and periodically monitoring amp controlling the annual target plan to ensure the achievement of the company s balance scorecard Review and analyze extension of time claims submitted by the Contractor using various delay analysis methodologies as the case may deem necessary Ensure coordination with the various internal stakeholders and different work packages Buildings Infra and Landscaping Prepare assessment and recommendation report for the Contractor s EOT claims Facilitate project risk management processes including risk identification assessment mitigation and monitoring

Requirements
