Job summary

Kerzner International is seeking a Distribution Manager for One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai. You will optimize the hotel’s distribution ecosystem, ensure accurate availability, rates and inventory across channels, and collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Sales, Marketing and Kerzner Corporate teams to drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in hotel distribution or revenue management, strong Excel and analytics, and hands-on experience with CRS/PMS/GDS and OTA

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in hotel distribution, revenue management or e-commerce in upscale/luxury environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of CRS, PMS, GDS, channel managers, OTA extranets and booking engines.
• Experience with SynXis and OPERA Cloud is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and optimize distribution to maximize revenue and occupancy across channels.

• Lead connectivity between PMS/CRS/GDS to ensure seamless reservations delivery.

About The Role

The Distribution Manager is responsible for optimizing the hotel's distribution ecosystem to ensure accurate availability, rates and inventory across all channels while maximizing revenue, channel efficiency and profitability. The role owns the integrity and performance of CRS, GDS, OTA and third-party distribution channels and works closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Sales, Marketing and Kerzner Corporate teams to ensure distribution strategy supports the hotel's overall commercial objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Effective strategy implementation for optimal restaurant revenue performance.
• Build and manage database information for CRS, GDS, PMS and OTAs
• Manage the implementation of OTA’s, tour operators & DMC’s on various distribution platforms
• Ensure rate parity across channels and partners, with daily monitoring in support with corporate tools.
• Monitor competitors’ performance including pricing strategies and product improvement.
• Develop distribution system standards and procedures, e.g. rate code and room type set up, rate loading form, etc.
• System set up and maintenance for ancillaries related systems.
• Ensure booking systems and team efficiencies to ensure desired capture ratios through reservation channels.
• Ensures optimal use of various distribution channels available for the property to produce the maximum yield.
• Keep timely records of lost businesses and formulate plans.
• Close collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure up to date content across platforms.
• Identifying best opportunity and best technical ways for reservations direct delivery into PMS / CRS for Tour Operators / DMCs, third-party websites, and external guests and drive implementation.
• Own and continuously audit connectivity between PMS, CRS, GDS, booking engine, OTAs and third-party distribution platforms, proactively identifying mapping, inventory, rate or interface failures that may result in revenue loss or guest booking friction.
• Maintain partner implementation tracking sheet up to date with all related accurate information.
• Keep close relationships and collaboration with third parties’ partners, developing revenue strategies.
• Manage of OTAs content and strategies implementation, based on reporting insights.
• Training sales and front office teams to understand revenue management principles and the roles they play.
• Keep Training material up to date and provide a training platform, to an enlarged audience.
• Provide guidance and support to hotel colleagues on revenue management processes and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance revenue awareness and understanding across the organization.
• Manage Distribution Channels Daily operation, set targets and timelines for implementation tasks as well as any troubleshooting and hotel assistance. Control work evolution and assess change in planning.
• Manage Distribution Systems to anticipate business at risk and act accordingly.
• Assisting in the development and execution of the Strategic Business Plan and the annual operating budget for the hotel.
• Business Analytics application for comprehensive reporting and decision-making.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance revenue culture across related areas.
• Staying abreast of industry and local market trends

About You

• 3–5 years' experience in hotel distribution, revenue management or e-commerce within an upscale/luxury environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of CRS, PMS, GDS, channel managers, OTA extranets and booking engines.
• Solid knowledge of Central Reservation Systems, Interfaces, onward distribution platforms and OTA extranets.
• Experience with SynXis and OPERA Cloud is preferred.
• Skilled in analysis, problem solving and decision making.
• Advanced Excel knowledge; extremely comfortable compiling and manipulating data.
• Business Analytics is a plus.
• Must be a fast learner and able to work under pressure.
• Must work independently.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues in Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management
