Job summary

WOW Softech is seeking a Manager - DC Operations & Projects for its Supply Chain team in Dubai. The role focuses on end-to-end DC/Warehouse operations, driving capacity expansion, WMS deployment, and process improvements across multiple locations.

The candidate should have 8–10 years of DC/Warehouse experience, strong project management skills, and hands-on WMS/ERP exposure. A Bachelor's in Engineering is mandatory; MBA in Operations is preferred. Relocation to Dubai is required.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in DC Operations / Warehouse Operations.
• Hands-on experience managing operational projects (WMS implementation, capacity expansion, process improvement).
• Experience in home furniture / home furnishing retail is highly preferred; large-format retail or retail e-commerce may also be considered.
• Exposure to WMS / ERP systems, process mapping, UAT and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day distribution centre and warehouse operations, including inventory, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Monitor operational KPIs related to productivity, delivery performance, inventory accuracy, service quality and cost efficiency.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Lead operational projects such as WMS implementation, warehouse capacity expansion and process optimisation.
• Work closely with IT teams to gather business requirements, map processes, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support system implementation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Support standardisation of warehouse processes and successful adoption of new systems across multiple locations.
• Track project progress, manage risks and communicate updates and outcomes to senior management.

Job Description

We are hiring a Manager - DC Operations & Projects for the Supply Chain team of a leading retail group in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Distribution Centre (DC) / Warehouse Operations, along with hands‑on experience managing operational improvement projects, such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation, warehouse capacity expansion and process improvement initiatives.

Important:

• Candidates with only IT, digital transformation or project management experience, without substantial DC Operations experience, will not be considered.
• Profiles from hyper/quick-commerce and food-delivery businesses are excluded for this requirement.

• Experience in home furniture / home furnishing retail is highly preferred. Candidates from large-format retail or retail e-commerce may also be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
