Job summary

Emirates IT Operations & Support Engineers in Dubai focus on restoring normal IT service operations for Emirates Group and external clients.

You will be the SPOC for incidents, analysing issues and delivering quick fixes while coordinating with problem management to prevent recurrence. Requires a bachelor's degree and 4+ years in IT, with IBM zOS and mainframe expertise; ServiceNow, Splunk and AppDynamics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Operational and support experience in Mainframe technology (IBM Z).
• Practitioner level certification in IBM zOS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for incidents and service requests.
• Analyze incidents and provide solutions to restore service per SLOs.
• Update incident status in the management tool and communicate timely.
• Set expectations with customers based on agreed timeframes.
• Contribute fixes to the knowledge base and assist root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to ensure system availability.
