Job summary

Emirates is seeking an IT Operations & Support Engineer specialized in Mainframe Technologies in Dubai. You will ensure rapid restoration of IT services, act as SPOC for incidents, and coordinate with IT teams to sustain high availability across the Emirates Group and external clients.

You will handle incident resolution, service requests, and proactive problem management while adhering to ITIL processes and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 4 years of IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents to restore IT services within agreed targets.
• Analyse incidents and provide user-centric solutions to resume work quickly.
• Update incident status and communicate with teams and customers.
• Set customer expectations based on defined SLOs.
• Document fixes to knowledge databases for problem management.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to maintain high availability.
• Adhere to IT policy, standards, and audit regulations.
