Job summary

Rashed Al Rashed & Sons Group in Dubai is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical faults, install and commission new machinery, read drawings and specifications, support changeovers, and maintain records while upholding GMP, food safety, and safety standards. A proactive approach and teamwork are essential to keep equipment reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect, maintain, and overhaul pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, compressors, valves, and other mechanical systems.
• Install and commission new machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, leaks, vibration, and potential failures.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Replace defective mechanical parts and perform equipment alignment and calibration.
• Support production teams during machine changeovers and startup activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and company safety standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with electrical technicians and production personnel to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in workshops and production areas.
