Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled maintenance technician for preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-speed beverage production environment.

You will troubleshoot bottling lines, motors, PLCs, sensors, drives, and panels, ensuring high availability and OEE. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in FMCG/beverage manufacturing and UAE/GCC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics.
• 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience in FMCG/beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with Sidel, Krones, Valuepack bottling lines.
• Experience on high-speed bottling lines in beverage production.
• Strong troubleshooting: motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, control panels, pneumatics, and automation.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, OEE, and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair bottling lines, machinery, motors, panels, sensors, drives, pumps, conveyors, and utilities.
• Ensure equipment availability, reliability, and OEE with minimum downtime.
• Maintain critical spares, tools, maintenance records, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Support PLC, automation, VFD, and control systems and equipment improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, HSE, and other departments for smooth plant operations.
• Train operators on basic machine operation, equipment care, and safe working practices.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with HSE, quality, and company standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must have strong practical knowledge of Sidel, Krones, and Valuepack bottling machines/lines.

• Experience in bottled water/beverage production and high-speed bottling lines is mandatory.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, control panels, pneumatics, and automation.

• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, OEE, and equipment reliability.

• Proactive, safety-conscious team player with strong problem-solving skills.
