Job summary

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort seeks a dedicated Stewarding team member to uphold the highest cleanliness standards across Back of House areas at the Dibba property within our luxury oceanfront resort.

You will supervise the stewards, support training, manage daily dish and pot-wash duties, and ensure safe, compliant operations in line with Health and Safety guidelines. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and guest-focused service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Stewarding department preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications preferred.
• University/College degree in a related discipline an asset.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Stewarding team to maintain high standards.
• Support team members in training and development.
• Coordinate daily pot-wash and dish-wash duties.
• Maintain Back of House areas with cleanliness and schedules.
• Observe Health, Hygiene and Safety guidelines for hazardous substances.
• Report equipment faults to Managers and Executive Chef.
• Ensure PPE is in place and guidelines followed.
• Operate machinery safely per Health and Safety Manual.
• Assist in locating, moving and storing operational equipment.
• Assist in stock taking of equipment and items.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned by Management.
