Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is seeking a Stewarding Shift Leader to oversee daily stewarding operations across all outlets and back-of-house areas in Abu Dhabi. You will lead and motivate the stewarding team, ensure sanitation, and support kitchen and service operations to meet luxury hospitality standards.

The role requires strong supervision skills, a focus on health regulations, and the ability to maintain equipment, logs, and compliance with HACCP throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Food Safety or HACCP is preferred.
• Additional hospitality or supervisory training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding activities during assigned shifts to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ensure cleaning, sanitization, and proper storage of kitchen equipment and tableware.
• Monitor dishwashing to guarantee a steady supply of clean equipment for outlets and events.
• Lead and train Stewarding Attendants and Kitchen Porters, allocating duties.
• Maintain records of cleaning logs and sanitation checks, and report safety hazards.
