Job summary

Atlantis The Royal in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Sommelier for Carbone to update the wine list, place orders, and rotate stock. You will pair wines with authentic dishes and advise guests on selections, ensuring correct temperatures and glassware while spotting upsell opportunities.

A luxury dining background with 2+ years in the role and WSET Level 2 is preferred; international experience is a plus in Italian fine dining venues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in luxury restaurants or hotels.
• Experience in wine list preparation and wine stock management.
• Ability to advise guests on wine pairings and upsell beverages.

Responsibilities

• Update the wine list and rotate stock with the Bar Manager and Wine Manager.
• Place wine orders and maintain optimal wine stock levels.
• Make wine recommendations to pair with authentic dishes and ensure correct serving temperature and glassware.
