Job summary

Raffles Dubai invites you to join as Captain in Raffles Salon, supporting colleagues and leaders to deliver the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. This role reports to the Outlets Supervisor and requires extensive knowledge of wine, cuisine, and luxury hospitality.

You will train staff, use Micros and Opera, and maintain impeccable standards across the outlet while delivering a refined guest experience in a 5‑star setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask.
• Extensive wine and cuisine knowledge.
• Computer proficiency, including Micros and Opera systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LQA service standards for the outlet and read daily reports and hotel updates.
• Acknowledge VIP arrivals and ensure they are acted upon.
• Know all food and beverage menu items and relay that information to guests politely.
• Serve and clear items professionally using proper service ware.
• Utilise the POS system to ring up sales and close checks.
• Carry trays, reset tables with linen and tableware.
• Aspire to guest satisfaction and inform management of issues.
