Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, invites a talented Chef de Rang to join our luxury dining team. You will oversee service at a station, coordinate with kitchen, and ensure a seamless guest experience for discerning members and guests.

We seek 2–3 years of luxury dining or hotel experience, excellent English, and strong organisational and interpersonal skills. The role requires long shifts with focus on impeccable service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended period.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Waiter in running a station during allocated schedule, including taking the orders, looking after the service for food and beverage, and inputting items in the POS.
• Promote sales and build up good relationship with members and guests, and ensure a positive guest experience by obtaining feedback.
• Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requests.
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery and service equipment are prepared and available.
• Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum.
