Job summary

Anantara Downtown Dubai is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensure flawless guest experiences, and uphold luxury standards in line with Forbes Travel Guide and LQA.

In this role you will coach the team, drive revenue with upselling, monitor hygiene and HACCP compliance, and collaborate with Culinary and hotel departments to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or related field.
• 3–5 years' F&B experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Previous restaurant management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene.
• Strong guest service, leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with knowledge of revenue and cost control.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain strong floor presence and personally engage with guests.
• Ensure compliance with Forbes, LQA, brand, HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Coach the team on luxury service, guest engagement, service recovery and attention to detail.
• Conduct daily briefings and regular service/quality checks.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and ensure effective recovery.
• Drive restaurant revenue, upselling, average check and cost control.
• Manage staffing, productivity, scheduling and team performance.
• Train, develop and motivate team members, building a strong service culture.
• Coordinate effectively with Culinary, Stewarding and other hotel departments.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, grooming, mise-en-place and operational standards.
• Review guest feedback and quality audit results and implement corrective actions.
