Job summary

Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara is seeking a friendly Bellman to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and escort guests to rooms while sharing information about facilities and local attractions. You will coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest experiences.

The role requires a service-oriented attitude, strong communication, and the ability to manage luggage safely. Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellman or guest-facing hotel role preferred.
• Friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage safely.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of Dubai and local attractions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet guests on arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room changes.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide basic information about hotel facilities.
• Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
• Assist with arranging taxis and transportation when required.
• Deliver guest items, messages, parcels, and other requested materials promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, restaurants, local attractions, and transportation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and behavior at all times.
