Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the luxury Italian dining venue. You will ensure high standards of service, lead a team, and coordinate with the kitchen on menus and seasonal promotions.

Ideal candidates hold a hospitality management degree and have 3–5 years in luxury Italian settings, with strong leadership and knowledge of Italian wines. Fluent English is required; Italian language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in luxury or fine-dining Italian settings.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Sound knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Italian restaurant ensuring luxury service standards.
• Conduct daily briefings and supervise restaurant appearance and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team for high-quality food service and timely delivery.
• Manage guest relations, handle complaints, and build repeat business.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant staff.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets through effective labor and expense control.
• Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine on menu planning and seasonal promotions.
• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and control breakage and waste.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
