Job summary

CÉ LA VI Dubai is seeking a reliable Receiver to oversee daily goods receiving, ensure inventory accuracy, and support the back‑of‑house operations of our luxury venue. You will verify POs/DOs, flag discrepancies, enter receiving data into the system, and maintain digital records while coordinating with Culinary, Operations, Purchasing and Finance teams to keep the venue running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in receiving or stockroom management, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in receiving, inventory control, or stockroom management.
• High attention to detail for stock counts, system data entry, and invoice matching.
• Experience tracking inventory documentation (POs, DOs, Transfer, and Spoilage forms).
• Excellent communication across Culinary, Operations, Purchasing, Finance teams.
• Proficient with inventory/purchasing software and general tools.

Responsibilities

• Witness, check, and verify physical stock received against Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Orders (DO) in coordination with Operations and Culinary teams.
• Promptly notify relevant teams regarding delivery shortfalls, price discrepancies, item mismatches, or quality concerns.
• Enter and book accurate receiving data into the inventory and purchasing system daily.
• Flag any discrepancies between Purchase Orders, Invoices, Delivery Orders, and Receiving Notes.
• Verify daily Transfer, Spoilage, Spillage, and Wastage forms for accuracy, ensuring prompt submission from internal teams.
• Review open and outstanding Purchase Orders to guarantee all receiving entries remain completely up to date.
• Maintain digital records by scanning completed forms to the Finance directory and updating daily operational logbooks.
