Job summary

Park Hyatt Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to supervise daily operations across guest rooms and service areas, ensuring luxury standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role supports and guides colleagues, coordinates guest requests, and maintains high hygiene and safety levels.

You will train and guide Room Attendants, coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and Laundry, manage room readiness, VIP preparations, and respond promptly to guest requests with effective service

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years housekeeping experience with supervisory or team-leading exposure in luxury settings.
• Knowledge of guest-room cleaning, inspections, linen management, chemical handling, hygiene, and safety.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and guest-relations skills; manage priorities during high occupancy.
• Basic proficiency in housekeeping or property-management systems to update room status and records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations across assigned guest rooms, floors, corridors, and service areas.
• Allocate daily room assignments according to occupancy levels, guest movements, priorities, and team availability.
• Inspect vacant, occupied, arrival, departure, and out-of-order rooms for cleanliness and functionality.
• Conduct team briefings and communicate room priorities, VIP arrivals, special requests, and updates.
• Train, coach, and guide attendants in cleaning procedures, room presentation, chemical usage, and luxury service standards.
• Monitor room-cleaning progress and update room status to support timely room release.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry on readiness, linen requirements, and guest requests.
• Ensure VIP rooms, suites, amenities, and personalized preferences are prepared before guest arrival.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, with appropriate action and follow-up.
• Report maintenance defects, damaged items, and safety concerns identified during inspections.
